Tennis love!

Well, if there is one thing my boy likes, it's his tennis racquet! lol!! It doesn't matter if he's "playing" tennis, golf, or just carrying it around. We went to watch Daddy play tennis today, and, well, I can't wait until he's old enough to play with us!

What are you doing in the 100+ degree heat?!!!!

Catch up...the past month's happenings!

Well, catch up once again!! :):)

Here we go!

Hide and Seek with Daddy!! Can't quite handle the anticipation!!! :)

We went to the NCAA Tennis Championships in Athens, and Manwich passed out on the way home! I don't think we even made it to the loop!!

My sweet boy!

Our poor dog has had a hot spot for a while. It heals, then she scratches it the second we take off her cone...so on it goes again! She doesn't love it, or like it for that matter, but she has started to care a bit less about walking into things. Her neck has to be sore. She doesn't really pay attention to where she walks, and that's quite a big cone! lol!

My sister-in-law got Manwich this Melissa and Doug latch board for a gift and it is awesome! Different latches, colors,  counting, and animals inside to match the numbers. An all around favorite in our house. And, it's great quality to last for generations!

Trains...cars...airplanes...helicopters...if it moves, our boy is a fan! Here's his latest set up!

Oh, the woods...  I really think that if we "forgot" and left him there, he would love it! lol! He loves anything water, sticks, dirt, rocks, and where he can get messy! He's growing up too fast! :)

How is your summer going?? :)

Year in Pictures: Week 14/52

My boy has a best friend, who happens to be my best friend's son. No, that wasn't planned. :) Today they got to play together and had a great time hiding, playing drums, running outside, reading, and chattering away about who knows what...because I really don't know what they were saying half the time. lol!! Here's a few photos of their fun!

And my personal favorite of the day:

Carter was showing me the picture of Shel Silverstein and saying "This is Finley's Daddy" over and over and Finley was chiming in... "Look at my Daddy." Let's just say that Finley doesn't get his red hair from me...I could not stop laughing!!!!

Year in Pictures: Week 13/52

This past weekend, we took our tot to spend the weekend with my in-laws. On our way back, we spontaneously decided to stop for a hike at Amicalola Falls. I love this place! It is where we went on one of our first dates, too. Fun memories! Anywhoo, despite me being very unprepared in denim capris and flip flops, we hiked the whole thing. Took the stairs up to the top of the falls, then took the trails back down. It was perfect!

Here's the falls part way up:

Here's our view from the top.

It was so relaxing and fun to be around all this green! :)

Year in Pictures: Week 12/52

Ok, I think I'm caught up now! I will have to go back and count the weeks........

My little guy fell asleep on the couch, which hardly ever happens.  This means mama gets to work with the good ol' Nikon, lol!!!

This was hilarious!! Finley wanted to climb the ladder himself, and he got up a few steps and then just stood there for a while...didn't want help, just hanging out! lol!!!
